its good to discuss more about Big Bang. but one question remain in my mind
ReplyDeletefrom Hindu mythological knowledge to Buffun, Laplase, Emmenuel Kant, Jeans -Jefrey to Chandra Shekhar Limit and Kelkar theory to Big bang we discuss a lot but till now human race is confused in the same that is What is Big Bag? How Universe has formed when there was no matter???? why we discuss Zero to Infinity when we are in same still in the basic question???????????
after watching Indian NEWS CHENNEL today 16th August 2009. it came to my mind
ReplyDeleteVs
Do you think is there any similarity between Dr. Kalam and Shahrukh Khan?
U will not belive that our Government and Media think Shasrukh is more important than Dr. Kalam.
When Shahrukh khan was asked by America for security check in one of their Airport Our Indian Government and Media agitated it like anything. immediately Govt. ask for a clarification to America and Whole day it was the main news in all media and our Media gave preference to Sharukh's news more than the news of Independence day celebration and Priminister's address from red fort.
Same when Dr. Kalam was asked by America for the same govt. came to know about this incident after one and half month and there was no coverage for this news in media.
So don’t u think Government and Media of India think that Shahrukh is more important that Dr. Kalam.
Becoz we dont think so. So im sending this mail to you becouse i belive u will forward this mail to many so that no body ever try to forget Dr. Kalam's contribution to India.
Yours
Dr. Manish Semwal

Background
ReplyDeleteIn this activity students will investigate how much pollution has affected the condition of a named freshwater ecosystem (e.g. lake) using an ecological approach. Through this simple method of investigation it is hoped to give a hands on experience of learning for students, and the results will be useful for them and also for whom it may concern and also for further studies.
University of Indonesia has 5 lakes, these lakes act as a water reservoir for the town of Depok. The lakes get their waters from surrounding small rivers and drains. Consequently, these lakes are prone to water pollution. This location will provide the best condition and also experience to students to do freshwater ecosystem studies.
Objective
To investigate the freshwater quality of several lakes at University of Indonesia
Description of activity
1. Freshwater Quantitative Measurement
Students will take the quantitative measurement of the lake, measurements such as; dissolved oxygen, pH, temperature, transparency etc. These measurements will provide the basis for discussion to analyse the condition of the ecosystem
2. Freshwater Invertebrate Biological Indicator
Students will learn how to identify several freshwater invertebrate biological indicators in the lake. These animals will be the key for students to know the water quality of the lake.
3. Plankton collection
Students will collect samples of plankton using plankton net. These planktons with its particular characteristics will help students to determine the water quality of the lake.
