Negligence of Environmental Studies in new Curriculum:   With updated curriculum for 2014 Ministry of Education and Culture (MOEC) has added few new elements such as more focus in Religious Studies and Civics. Both are surely important for values systems along with Pancasila and Morals.  Indonesia is home of biodiversity and can play a major role in sustainability of environment around the world. There are three environmental goals that are critical to achieving sustainable societies that includes Preservation of Biodiversity, Excellent Water Quality and Healthy Air Quality and in general we have to do a little to manage this, if we make our way of life around these aspects. Education always ignites minds and if this study could be focused in school curriculum I could have spread more awareness about environmental protection and conservation.
